At Grace Free Church, we have gone to great lengths to create amazing kid's programming for your children every Sunday morning. They're going to be a part of a learning environment that's developmentally age-appropriate.

Most importantly, we have taken great care to create safe environments for your children, where they're going to have a lot of fun and learn from the Bible in a way that helps them grow spiritually.

Check out this amazing kid's program that is going to meet your kid's needs, help them grow spiritually, and provide an incredible church environment for them. They're going to make a lot of friends from all over the county, and they'll look forward to coming back every Sunday.

A cozy and loving place to be, our trained volunteer staff is here to meet all the needs of your precious baby while you enjoy the Worship Service.

Our Team cares for and plays with the children to express God's love, always keeping in mind the special requests and concerns from the parents. We maintain a safe and caring environment, and our goal is to excite your children to come back and play with their fellow baby friends and us!

What should parents bring?

• A few disposable diapers
• Pacifier or other item, should your child need it for security
• A change of clothes in case your child requires it
• A bottle of milk, formula, juice, or water
• Any other snacks or food items

At this age, kids start to learn what it means to love God and one another, and they should have lots of fun in the process! Our volunteer team teaches lessons based on stories of the Bible in ways that are easy to understand. They sing great worship songs with lots of movement, watch puppet shows, play games, and work on projects that include take home conversation starters.

What should parents bring?

• Out of concern for the severe food allergies of some of our kids, please do not send any snacks with your child.

Kids relate to our exciting and engaging gatherings and have a ton of fun! They learn how to develop Godly character and become followers of Jesus Christ through interactive, visual Bible lessons that utilize a cool mixed-media format. They participate in great worship music, live teaching, and play fun games that support the lesson. They are also part of dynamic small groups, filled with prayer and personal one-on-one discussions where friendships are formed that will last a lifetime.

What should parents bring?

• An age-appropriate Bible for your child if they have one

We are excited to meet your family! Your kids will have a great time learning about God’s love for them, and will experience a time of worship, teaching and small group each week. Our volunteer leaders will encourage your kids with rich small group experiences as they learn about the Bible, make friends, pray for one another, and participate in practical activities that reinforce the lesson for the week.

When you visit Grace Free Church, you’ll see signage directing you to the Grace Kids check-in area. We will ask for some basic contact information and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) before walking your child to their appropriate classroom. We assign kids to classrooms according to their birthdate or grade in school. Both you and your child will receive a name tag sticker so we can match you back up after the service.

ARE CLASSES AVAILABLE FOR ALL YOUR SERVICES?

Yes! We run our kid's programming at all of our service times and at all our locations, so the choice is yours!

WHAT IS THE CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT PROCEDURE?

Sign your kids in at the Grace Kids desk in our kid’s wing. Your child will be given a name tag sticker to put on their clothing, and you will be given a sticker with a matching code. Our volunteers would be happy to assist you in finding your child's classroom! You must present your family sticker to your child's teacher in order to pick up your child, and our staff will inspect both stickers to ensure they match.

WHAT ARE YOUR SAFETY POLICIES?

All Grace Kids volunteers are required to pass a Pennsylvania background check and follow all of our safety procedures. Volunteers are not permitted to enter a restroom alone with a child.

WHAT IF MY CHILD NEEDS ME DURING THE SERVICE?

In the rare event that you are needed during the service, we will send you a text message notifying you of a problem.

I HAVE A SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD. CAN THEY PARTICIPATE IN GRACE KIDS?

Absolutely! Please notify us at check-in if your child requires special attention. If there are any concerns that you'd like to discuss in advance, you can email our Children's Director at stacey.mcclusky@gracefreechurch.net.
