Isaiah 53 foretells the suffering and sacrifice of Jesus, written 700 years before His crucifixion. Many people misunderstand Christ’s purpose, much like the Jewish people who expected a warrior king but received a suffering servant. Jesus took on unimaginable pain, rejection, and humiliation to bear our sins, fulfilling God’s plan for salvation. His suffering was not an accident but an intentional act of love, bringing healing and restoration to all who believe in Him. Even now, Jesus intercedes for us, offering redemption to those who turn to Him.
